The selected candidate will be an essential part of a team striving to offer superior clinical care and improve patient outcomes in our advanced surgical and cardiac care unit. Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization. Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate utilizing computerized documentation systems. Initiate and administer patient care plans, including medication, symptom management, and wound care. Collaborate with a wide array of healthcare professionals to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans. Participate in educational programs to maintain competency and enhance nursing skills, and support the health education of patients and families. Ability to apply nursing procedures and pharmacology for complex cardiovascular conditions effectively Proficient in the use of modern healthcare technology Strong interpersonal skills to handle sensitive situations and confidentiality issues Excellent organizational and time management skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse License in the state of Florida or Multistate Licensure BLS certification ACLS certification preferred Previous CVICU certification is advantageous More...
