Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization. Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate using computerized documentation systems. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by health care providers. Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team. Implement and monitor patient care plans. Manage care of patients in accordance with the medical plan and the patient's physical capabilities. Educate patients and their families on illness, wellness, and preventive healthcare. Supervise and guide lesser-experienced staff members and support the team in complex, critical situations. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent bedside manner and patient-centric approach. Ability to work effectively in a team and independently. Competence in handling high-stress situations and making decisions under pressure. Proficient in using healthcare software and electronic health records.
