This role requires a deep commitment to supportive care, ensuring patient safety, and adherence to all regulatory and medical guidelines. Monitor patients for condition changes post-surgery and respond with appropriate interventions. Administer medications as prescribed and monitor for reactions or complications. Record patient vital signs and recovery progress, updating healthcare team members as needed. Educate patients and families on post-procedure care, medications, and potential side effects. Maintain a sterile environment to prevent infection. Coordinate with surgical teams and other medical professionals to develop effective care plans. Assist in the implementation of new health innovations and adherence to the best medical practices. Strong skills in patient assessment and acute care. Proficiency in managing pain relief and sedation. Highly skilled in the use of PACU equipment and technology. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
