Oversee the daily operations of the respiratory department and manage a team of respiratory therapists. Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure quality of care and compliance with regulatory standards. Coordinate and assist in the clinical training of respiratory therapy staff and students. Monitor and evaluate the latest developments in respiratory care to incorporate evidence-based practices. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to manage patient care effectively. Ensure equipment functionality and advocate for the acquisition of new technology. Manage departmental staffing, including scheduling, hiring, and performance evaluations.
