Provide pre-operative and post-operative nursing care to patients undergoing open heart surgery. Monitor patient vital signs and recovery progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed in consultation with surgeons and physicians. Administer medications and document patient interactions and responses to treatments. Educate patients and their families on post-operative care and lifestyle adjustments. Maintain a sterile environment in the operating room and ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and standards. Participate in continuous education to stay current with the latest advances in cardiovascular health and surgical procedures. Proficiency in managing cardiovascular patients and adeptness in operating room protocols. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
