Registered Nurse (RN) | Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) / Pre-Post Op Location: Melbourne, FL Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,061 per week Shift Information: Days - 4 days x 10 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/6/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: PACU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience required License: Florida state license or compact license required at the time of submission Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS required Must-Have: Experience in a Level II Trauma Center is required. Proficient in neurological and cardiovascular sections of PACU skills assessment. Ability to titrate drips. Willingness to float to all facilities as needed. Available for on-call responsibilities. Description: The PACU RN will work in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include recovering patients from surgeries such as laparoscopic procedures, appendectomy, hysterectomy, and mastectomy. The RN will manage patients with a variety of conditions including hypoventilation, cardiac arrhythmias, and respiratory arrest. They will be expected to rotate to phase II PACU outpatient discharge when necessary. The RN will work within a patient ratio of 1:2. On-call duty includes nights during the week and weekends. Documentation will be done using the facility charting system. Patient age groups include adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Candidates will need to comply with flu and COVID-19 vaccine requirements. References from authority figures within the last year are required.
