Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Home Health Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent Medicare Home Health experience required. License: Florida State or compact license required at time of submission. Certifications: BLS required. Must-Have: - EPIC experience required. - OASIS experience required. - Post-op surgical home health experience required (i.e. ortho & general). - Must have experience managing adult home health patients. Description: The role requires recent experience in Medicare Home Health. Candidates must have experience with post-op surgical patients, including orthopedic and general cases. The position involves managing a patient caseload of 27-30 cases per day. Candidates are expected to provide care for adults, including wound care, IV maintenance, and feeding tube management. The position requires the ability to work Monday through Friday with a weekend rotation, which includes five weekend shifts every six weeks. On-call duties may be required. Candidates must have two references from authority figures within the last year included with their submission. Flu vaccination is required during the specified flu season, with medical or religious exemptions accepted. Participation in additional training modules is required annually. Staff and contracted travelers must adhere to policies regarding prior internal contracted positions. Candidates must be available for lab work within 72 hours of signing. No radius rule applies; local candidates are accepted. All candidates must have a valid license and meet experience requirements for submission.
