In this role, you will be pivotal in providing care for mothers and babies during labor, childbirth, and postpartum, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the process. This position requires a commitment to following best practices in patient care and the ability to work closely with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes. Monitor and observe laboring patients, assessing their condition and managing care. Administer medications and perform procedures as necessary. Educate patients and their families on the labor, delivery, and postpartum process. Ensure the health and safety of both mother and baby throughout the childbirth process. Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and other healthcare professionals. Document patient conditions and treatments in medical records with accuracy.
