As a CVOR Nurse, you will have the distinct role of assisting with surgeries on the heart and other thoracic procedures, requiring precision and an in-depth knowledge of cardiac surgical environment. Assist in surgical procedures, focusing on cardiovascular surgeries. Prepare the operating room and ensure sterile conditions. Monitor and ensure patient safety throughout surgeries. Manage preoperative and postoperative patient care. Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other medical professionals. Administer medication as prescribed by the attending physician. Maintain detailed patient records and surgical notes.
