Our NICU is designated for the delicate treatment of critically ill or premature newborns, integrating innovative treatments and cutting-edge technology in a caring and responsive environment. In this vital role, the NICU Nurse will manage the nursing care of critically ill neonates in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of our healthcare network. Provide direct and individualized nursing care to neonates based on medical orders and the interdisciplinary plan of care. Ensure proper handling and monitoring of neonates needing specialized therapies and interventions. Collaborate with a wider healthcare team to formulate a comprehensive care plan for each patient. Document all nursing processes and patient interactions with accuracy and compliance to hospital protocols. Educate families on neonatal conditions, treatment plans, at-home requirements, and preventative measures. Proficiency in neonatal care and handling critical care situations. Strong interpersonal skills to support effective communication with families and team members. Ability to operate NICU-specific medical equipment. Adaptability to rapidly changing environments and patient conditions.
