We are seeking a highly skilled, compassionate Float Medical Assistant to join our growing pediatric team. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned MA who thrives in a dynamic environment and wants to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children and families. Training & Permanent Location Details (Please Read Carefully) Initial Training Location: Bonita Health Center (Estero) Permanent Location: 2500 Goodlette Frank Rd N, Suite 200 Naples (Brand new office once completed) Candidates must be flexible and willing to train in Estero before transitioning permanently to Naples. The Medical Assistant is responsible for providing an excellent customer experience in a team-based environment while assisting in all aspects of medical practice under the direct supervision and responsibility of a physician or physician assistant. This position is responsible for patient safety, performing phlebotomy, point of care testing, assisting in minor procedures, processing lab specimens, safe operation of medical equipment, provides patient instructions, and for handling and administering medications according to regulatory standards and organizational policy and procedure under the direct supervision of a physician or physician assistant. This position is responsible for the collection, communication and documentation of accurate patient information/data and maintaining medical records according to regulatory standards and organizational policies and procedures. Other responsibilities include coordinating requests for information and prescriptions, maintain and preparing patient care areas to ensure efficient, effective and safe patient care delivery. Late hours, holidays and weekends may be required. Other duties as assigned by the Manager/Supervisor of the department. This position is required to float to all LPG and Hospital Outpatient Department locations across four counties. Requirements Experience: 3 years of Medical Assistant experience in a physicians office or hospital outpatient department with medication administration with injection experience required. Certification: AAMA (American Association of Medical Assisting), CCMA (National Health career Association), RMA (American Medical Technologists) preferred.
