Responsibilities The Respiratory Therapist RRT/PFT is responsible for: - Performing general pulmonary function testing and respiratory careservices in accordance with departmental policies and procedures. - Administer general respiratory care modalities in all areas, excluding NICU. - Function independently in PICU and all adult intensive care areas. - Implement and monitor therapeutic modalities per physician’s orders. - Provide on call staffing for department needs.
