Job Description Location: Fort Myers, Florida Department:LPG GME FM LEE Work Type:Full Time Summary The Associate Program Director (APD) of the Family Medicine Residency Program will assist and support the Program Director in all areas needed to manage the residency program, and maintain compliance with the ACGME standards The APD is directly responsible to the internal medicine program director. The APD is expected to spend 50% of their time in administrative duties and 50% of their time in a clinical role. Requirements Educational Requirements M.D. (Doctor of Medicine) Required or D.O. (Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine) Required Experience 2 years of successful academic experience in graduate medical education Additional: - Experience providing health care in international// resource-poor settings// Demonstrated teaching and leadership experience with strong leadership potential.
