Mon-50-70 patients/ Tues-25-43patients/ Wed-25-50patients/ Thurs-25-48patient / Fridays 7-15patients How do days have blocked OR time? Most of our Physicians have 2 days per week blocked for Surgery Cases. Physicians working in NI usually have more days blocked due to the volume of Trauma Cases. Do they have an O-ARM( this is for Spine Cases)? The OR will provide the O-Arm if it is entered in the surgery orders. This facility is level II Trauma, correct? Yes, GCMC is a state-approved Level II Trauma Center How many other Neurosurgeons are on staff, as well as mid-level support breakdown? Total 18- at GCMC Total 6 at CC Will the providers be working in the clinic with other Neurosurgeons? Yes Is there a Call rotation at night and on the weekends? Yes, there is. Questions more in line with neurosurgeon providers: 1. ACDF 2. CEREBRAL ANGIOGRAM 3. HEMILAMINECTOMY 4. FORAMINOTOMY 5. CAROTID ARTERY ANGIOPLASTY 6. LAMINECTOMY 7. DECOMPRESSION 8. LUMBAR INTERBODY FUSION 9. ROBOTIC LAMINECTOMY 10. MICRODISCECTOMY 11. FACETECTOMY 12. CRANIOTOMY 13. OLIF 14. ALIF 15. VENTRICULOPERITONEAL SHUNT 16. CARPAL TUNNEL RELEASE 17. KYPHOPLASTY 18. CRANIOPLASTY 19. EMBOLIZATION 20. ENDARTERECTOMY 21. FUSIONS Is the majority of their time performing surgical cases in hospital vs clinic? Depending on the physician it could vary. Physicians working in NI usually have more days blocked due to the volume of Trauma Cases. We get Trauma calls without warning. For the most part I believe it is an equal amount of time shared between hospital vs clinics. This varies depending on the situation they are facing for the day.
