As a Sommelier at Marriott International, you will be expected to utilize your wine expertise and exceptional interpersonal skills to curate memorable wine experiences for our guests, aligning with Marriott's tradition of innovative service and quality hospitality. Develop and maintain the wine list in coordination with chefs and the management team. Guide guests in selecting wines that perfectly complement their meal. Conduct wine tastings and educational sessions for guests and staff. Manage wine inventory and sourcing, ensuring quality and cost efficiency. Collaborate with the culinary team to pair and suggest wines that enhance menu items. Train restaurant staff on the basics of wine service and the current wine menu. Ensure compliance with all local regulations concerning wine and beverage service. In-depth knowledge of wine tasting and pairing. Strong organizational and inventory management skills.
