Rotate through and supervise different sections of the kitchen, including sauté, grill, and pantry, ensuring high-quality output and compliance with health and safety standards. Work closely with other chefs to plan and execute menus that meet Marriott's quality and innovation standards. Manage kitchen operations during designated shifts, including oversight of staff and efficient workflow management. Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. Maintain highest cleanliness and hygiene standards in all kitchen areas as per organizational and legal requirements. Order and manage inventory of ingredients and kitchen supplies, collaborating with suppliers to ensure premium quality. Participate in creating innovative recipes and menu items that reflect Marriott's global standards and guest expectations. Expertise in various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and processes Ability to operate effectively under pressure and within a dynamic team environment Strong leadership skills and the capability to train and motivate staff Excellent time management skills and the ability to multitask Knowledge of best practices for health and safety standards in the kitchen Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified Culinarian (CC) accreditation from the American Culinary Federation (ACF) preferred.
