The ideal candidate will be responsible for administering chemotherapy, managing symptoms related to cancer treatments, and providing emotional support to patients and their families. Administer chemotherapy and other medications following oncology protocols. Monitor patient responses to treatments and adjust care plans as necessary. Educate patients and their families on treatment expectations, side effects and health maintenance during and post-treatment. Maintain accurate patient records and report any pertinent changes in patient condition to oncologists. Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to provide holistic care. Participate in professional development opportunities and stay abreast of advances in oncology nursing practices.
