HCA Florida North Florida Hospital is seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our pulmonary unit on a per diem basis. Provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients based on the application of scientific nursing principles. Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions while maintaining accurate and detailed records. Interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to identify and assess patient's condition. Consult and coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate patient care plans. Modify patient treatment plans as indicated by patients' responses and conditions. Direct or supervise less-skilled nursing or healthcare personnel or supervise a particular unit. Prepare patients for, and assist with, examinations or treatments. Strong clinical skills with a focus on pulmonary care. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Electronic Medical Records (EMR). Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Active Registered Nurse license in the state of Florida. Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred. Certification in pulmonary care nursing (PCCN) is an advantage. More...
