Job Description Practice opportunity to join a large group of 8 board-certified Ob/Gyn's in the Tampa suburbs. The practice is 50 % Ob, 50% Gyn. Each physician can expect to deliver 12-15 babies per month. Office hours are typically 8:00 - 5:00 Monday – Thursday. Friday office hours are 8:00 – 2:30. Day off after call (1st call). Call will average 5 days per month. The Practice also employs mid-level Providers who assist with office visits and Hospitalists who assist with call coverage. There is a wide and varied level of experience in the practice. Physicians typically scrub in with one another for most complicated cases. Several are certified in Robotics. The practice currently has several locations and the largest is over 15,000 Sq feet. Offices are fully equipped and "state of the art". All have EMR, eClinical Works. Offices are all within 20-30 minutes of each other and near the hospitals. The practice currently performs all of its deliveries and surgeries at two local hospitals although one has hospitalists so physicians in the group are not on call for that facility. Level II and Level III NICU’s. TEACHING: The physicians can participate as faculty/instructors of the OB/GYN residency program at one of the hospitals. Participation with residents encouraged but not required. The group is looking for a team player. They work very well together and all are involved in the administrative decisions within the practice. This is a very stable practice. Most have been there for many years. Highly competitive salary including a yearly production incentive.
