Physical Therapy Assistant Location: Dunedin, FL Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,769 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/23/2026 About the Position Job Title: Home Health Physical Therapist Assistant Profession: Therapy/Rehabilitation Specialty: Home Health PTA Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 5x8-Hour Hours per Shift: 08:00 - 17:00 Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience required, home health experience preferred License: Valid state license required Certifications: BLS, PTA Must-Have: - Must have home health experience - OASIS training preferred - Valid driver's license and car for home visits - COVID vaccinated or exemption form on file - Flu shot or declination required, with mandatory mask wearing Description: The candidate will provide skilled physical therapy care to patients in their homes. Patient populations include cardiopulmonary, geriatrics, medical/surgical, neuro, orthopedic, and oncology. The candidate will conduct assessments and document patient progress. Skilled visits will typically range from 6 to 8 per day. Responsibilities include implementing home exercise programs and patient family education. The candidate will use various equipment and devices, including crutches, gait belts, and supplemental oxygen delivery systems. Experience in lifting and transferring patients, as well as understanding medications, is essential. Candidates must be proficient in recognizing signs and symptoms of physical, sexual, and psychological abuse. Interdisciplinary support and collaboration with other healthcare professionals are expected. Candidates will need to manage their own scheduling based on office needs.
