Job Summary As a Bilingual Medical Assistant, you will be an integral part of our healthcare team, ensuring the smooth operation of clinical activities while providing top-tier patient care. Under general supervision in an outpatient clinical setting, you will perform a variety of tasks, including initial patient triage, assisting medical providers, and executing routine medical procedures according to established protocols. Key Responsibilities - Deliver exceptional customer service and foster a welcoming environment for patients and their families. - Conduct initial patient triage and obtain patient histories. - Ensure efficient patient flow, minimizing wait times and coordinating with providers. - Assist providers with direct patient care and routine medical procedures. - Stay updated on policies, procedures, and compliance regulations. - Communicate patient results and follow up as needed. - Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring exam rooms are fully stocked. - Adhere to safety, environmental, and infection control protocols. - Perform routine clinical tasks, including: - EKGs - Ear lavage - Sterile dressing changes - Nebulizer treatments - Suture removal - Administering immunizations and therapeutic injections - Complete additional duties as assigned. Requirements: Qualifications - Bilingual (English/Spanish) required to effectively communicate with a diverse patient population. - Medical Assistant certification preferred, or equivalent clinical training. - Strong customer service and communication skills (both written and verbal). - Knowledge of business office procedures and experience in a healthcare setting. - Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and problem-solve effectively. - Ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with providers, patients, and colleagues.
