Doctor of Medicine | Anesthesiology - General/Other Location: Ocala, FL Employer: AAS Locum Tenens Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Start Date: ASAP About the Position Our growing network of Ambulatory Surgery Centers in Ocala, FL is seeking a skilled Anesthesiologist to provide high-quality anesthesia services as an independent contractor. Status: Independent Contractor (1099) Schedule: Daytime hours only – no call, nights, weekends, or holidays Essential Responsibilities Deliver safe, efficient anesthesia for a standard ASC case mix: Orthopedics, Spine, Pain Management, Podiatry, Cardiac (pacemaker implants) Practice independently and supervise CRNAs when required, maintaining collaborative teamwork. Conduct thorough pre-operative evaluations and post-operative assessments. Adhere to all facility protocols, patient-safety guidelines, and regulatory standards. Ensure accurate, timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR). Demonstrate reliable, punctual attendance to keep daily schedules running smoothly. Requirements: MD or DO with completion of an ACGME-accredited Anesthesiology residency. Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Anesthesiology. Unrestricted Florida medical license (or ability to obtain prior to start). Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
