The Orlando VA is seeking a BC/BE Rheumatology Section Chief.Recruitment/Sign-on Bonus Available Student Loan Reimbursements Quality of Life VA/Federal Benefits. The Rheumatology Department at the Orlando VA Sunshine Healthcare System is a well-established trained staff seeking a board certified/board eligible rheumatology physician. Successful completion of a U.S. Fellowship in Rheumatology is strongly preferred.The Chief will be responsible for leading the Division of Rheumatology at the Orlando VA Healthcare System. - Direct and develop the clinical, educational and research activities of the VA Rheumatology Division.
- Provide clinical care in the outpatient rheumatology clinics and on the inpatient rheumatology consultation service as well as the inpatient
medicine teaching service. - Provide a rich educational environment for students, residents and fellows and promote scholarly activities.
- Promote and expand research opportunities and recruit additional investigators in clinical, translational, and basic science.
