Come to our center and enjoy a work environment built on and dedicated to upholding our service standards.* Sincere Appreciationfor everyone* Hearing Needsand responding quickly* Caring Approachin everything we do* Managing Situationsfor positive outcomes*Responsibilities of a Staff Development Coordinator:** Provide general and clinical orientation to new staff members.* Provide live annual training sessions monthly so you have time and opportunity to interact with the staff.* Track training attendance, competencies, and state and federal requirements for all staff in Relias.* Conduct hands on skills fairs.* Perform and track competency evaluations.* Lead our Mentor Program.* Evaluate and educate individual needs of the staff at the center.*Qualifications for a Staff Development Coordinator*:* Associate degree or above in Nursing (ASN) required.* Clear and active Registered Nurse (RN) Licensure in the state of practice required.* Two (2+) years nursing experience required.* Long-Term Care or SNF Nursing experience OR Clinical Education and Staff Development experience strongly preferred.* CDC - IPCO Certification required or must be willing to complete within 5 days of employment.*ABOUT US*Tuskawilla Nursing and Rehab Center, located at 1024 Willa Springs Drive, Winter Springs,Fl 32708 is a 98 bed skilled nursing center that offers in-patient residential care, short-term rehabilitation and specialty services.
