Our client is searching for an IT Program Manager for a temp-to-perm position that can be worked remotely.

Candidates must work directly for TEKsystems on a W2 basis before converting to a full-time employee of our client.

Candidates should have experience managing modernization efforts from an executive or program manager level.

This position will work in a new Program Management Office within a Fortune 100 organization.

Description:

The Program Manager will ensure the right level of rigor and line-of-sight is provided for committed outcomes Their responsibilities will include:

Strategic Alignment: Escalate initiatives, issues and risks which may be misaligned w/ Domain strategy or put it at risk

Reporting: Provide relentless transparency through comprehensive portfolio and domain level reporting views and challenge initiative-level reporting as needed

Portfolio Management: Identify cross-domain risks, issues, dependencies, patterns and trends and escalate to the appropriate body.

Risk Management: Escalating unresolved issues and facilitating the resolution of issues (e.g., scheduling work sessions, following up, etc.)

Information Request: Respond to or re-direct information requests from other teams within or across their Domain (e.g., Finance, Compliance, etc.)

Governance: PM Team prepares materials for and facilitates governance forums, participates in and helps Domain leads prepare for Governance Forums.

Guides Initiative Owners through frameworks and coaching

Is very flexible, detail oriented and has a bias to action

Strong communications and executive presence
