Join us in lowering the cost of access to space and enabling Blue Origin's vision of millions of people living and working in space to benefit Earth.As part of a hardworking team technicians and engineers, you will build human rated Lunar Landers able to land on the moon In support of the MK1 and MK2 Lunar Lander Program.This is a boots-on-the-ground, hands-on-hardware, assembly technician Supervisor role. This is for the tinkers, the makers, the creatives, the pioneers, the problem solvers, those who own their role as if they are going to fly on the vehicle. We are building a road to space, and a rocket that approximates the size of the Saturn V. The path is long, with challenges at every step of the way.   • Setup, maintain, and use specialized tooling and testing equipment.
  • Assist engineers performing experiments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create and refine design specifications, always aiming for operational excellence and innovation.
  • Foster a collaborative environment, embracing diverse viewpoints to spur innovation and maintain a cohesive, mission-driven team dynamic.
  • Maintain an unwavering commitment to learning and improvement, willingly seeking and integrating feedback for personal and team growth.
  • Applicants for employment at Blue Origin must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e. current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.Qualifications:
    • 5+ years of technical experience as a service, manufacturing or R&D technician
    • Demonstrated electronics assembly proficiency.
    • Desire to work hands-on, both independently and as part of a team, throughout the development and production phases of the electronic assembly product lifecycle.
    • Familiarity with reading and understand engineering design drawings such as wiring and pin-out diagrams.Desired:
      • Familiarity with NASA electronics manufacturing standards such as NASA-STD-8739.3 and NASA-STD-8739.4.
      • Experience with space solar panel electrical assembly, including soldering, crimping, ultrasonic bonding, and parallel gap resistance welding.
