Position Summary: The Business Development Associate will focus on new business acquisition, lead nurture and lead routing management. The Business Development specialist will qualify leads to pass on to our Mid-Market and Business Development Teams, driving new business across key industry verticals. Duties and Responsibilities -
Perform calls to nurture leads with data insights, product information, and campaigns to increase their understanding of the SFC portfolio, the value proposition, and relevant use cases for SFC products. -
Use proactive outreach to make initial contact, maintain communication and nurture leads through a variety of sales touchpoints (email, phone, social, direct mail, etc.) -
Qualify leads through cold calls and emails to increase understanding of SFC's unique value proposition and solutions moving them from little interest to warm and active interest; help our prospects evolve from a stage of education to a willingness to speak with the Business Development Manager. -
Accurately follow the established pre-sales process and consistently use Salesforce to research account history and document prospect interaction, ensuring efficient lead management. -
Maintain active engagement with leads using creative follow-up communication and ensure 100% satisfaction with all leads. -
Ensure a seamless hand-off of leads and meetings to the Mid-market and Business Development Teams. -
Research customer segments and clients to increase prospect database that will lead to qualified leads. Education and Experience -
Bachelor's degree Preferred; or High School and two years or more of related selling experience -
Proven work experience as a Business Development Representative, Sales Account Manager or similar role. -
Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques, including cold calls. -
Track record of achieving sales quotas and expectations. -
Experience with CRM software (ex. Salesforce). -
ZoomInfo or similar database platform experience. -
Campaign selling experience (multi-touch via phone, email, direct mail, social, etc.). -
Familiarity with MS Excel to analyze spreadsheets and charts. -
Clear understanding of sales performance metrics. -
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, both written and verbal. -
Ability to deliver engaging presentations and discuss technical footwear/product specifications. -
Excellent organizational skills, with emphasis on priorities and goal setting. Competencies: |
