Our client is currently seeking a Process Industrial EngineerJob Title: Process Industrial EngineerLocation: Merritt Island, FLDuration:- 12+ Months (Possibility of Extension)Job Description:Lead manufacturing-related projects.Lead operations improvement - ergonomic & human factor, operations plans, recovery planning, capacity planning and capital planning.Provide production support - scheduling, theory of constraint, budget & forecast, crew empowerment, defect analysis, core competency definition, make/buy evaluation, benchmarking analysis.Identify and prioritize process improvement project - lean manufacturing, engineering economic analysis, process mapping, root cause analysis, statistical methods, six sigma and time studies.Facilitate system integration - Value Stream Analysis, Facility Layouts, Production Systems Design, Manufacturing Process Design, Systems Thinking, Facilities Planning.The hired candidate will execute time-motion study directly on the field. Perform time studies, make observations and form opinions regarding issues identified, their cause and possible solutions.Performs analysis aimed at improving operations, determining hourly labour requirements, and developing planning standards. In addition, assists with analyses that are smaller subcomponents of larger more complex projects.Qualifications: --BS in Operations Research, Industrial, Manufacturing or Mechanical Engineering4+ years of experience working directly with manufacturing in a production environment.Demonstrated ability in manufacturing and/or facilities planning.Factory flow, process modelling and simulations experience.Experience leading continuous improvement and value stream mapping events.Strong analytic skill set and a high degree of proficiency in data mining.-- More...
