HVAC Superintendent Job Summary
We are looking for a hard-working, dedicated HVAC superintendent to join our growing team. The individual in this role will be responsible for schedules and timelines, and overseeing contractors and subcontractors throughout the project. Candidates should have experience with project management and construction, as well as the ability to adhere to deadlines and budget restrictions.
Job description responsibilities for the HVAC Superintendent are:

• Totally accountable for the quality installation of the project
  
• Identifies potential change orders
  
• Responsible for customer relations on assigned projects
  
• Conduct weekly safety meetings
  
• Attend cost/job reviews
  
• Schedule manpower
  
• Interpret HVAC drawings for craft installation
  
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate on-site functions
  
• Perform material take-offs, ordering tools, materials, and equipment in a timely fashion to maximize field productivity
  
• Coordination of installation between trades and coordinate sub-contractor progress
  
• Ensure all on-site employees comply with OSHA standards & AAH work rules
  
• Schedule deliveries and inspections
  
• Monitor labor and prepare timesheets and two weeks look a heads
  
• Bring the job in on time and under budget
  
  HVAC Superintendent Requirements and Qualifications
  
  
  
  • 5+ years of experience in the HVAC industry
    
  • 2+ years of experience as an HVAC superintendent preferred
    
  • Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets a plus
    
  • CAD experience a plus
    
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written
    
  • Management skills, experience in team and project management
    
  • Ability to work with and manage a large team of contractors and subcontractors seamlessly
    
  • Organized, thorough work ethic
    
  • Analytically and mathematically-minded
    
  • Critical thinker, problem-solver
