Responsibilities

Our Case Manager is an integral part of the Pre-Litigation team.

We are looking for a self-motivated and skilled Case Manager to ensure smooth running of the office and effective caseload management. The successful candidate will be able to assist the Attorney in all phases of the case process including negotiations, settlements, legal research, document filing and client correspondence.

Responsibilities:

  • Organizing and maintaining case files and caseload requirements
  • Conduct pre-claim investigation, legal research, and initial case assessments
  • Verification of insurance coverage, and liability matters
  • Monitoring timelines, and billing for case completion
  • Drafting legal documents and case summaries
  • Reviewing documents for compliance with strict legal requirements
  • Gather relevant information from a variety of sources, including but not limited to, Lexis and Westlaw research
  • Assist with case settlements by negotiating with insurance providers
  • Manage and Supervise a dedicated Legal Assistant
  • Manage the client's medical care with the medical providers
  • Address client case status inquiries, including steps in process remaining, processing times, and appointment issues
  • Ensure compliance to all company Policies, Procedures, and expectations Qualifications

    Requirements and skills:
    • Proven 2+ years working experience in Personal Injury law as a Case Manager
    • Proven 2+ years working experience as an insurance adjuster preferred
    • Experience working and managing heavy caseload
    • Familiarity with the rules of federal and state procedures
    • Applicable knowledge of motions, discovery, evidence, litigation documentation, court rules and procedures, practices, etc.
    • Knowledge of MS Office and ability to work with legal technology & terminology
    • Proficiency in English, Bilingual a Plus
    • Working knowledge of case management software
    • Strong sense of confidentiality and ability to exercise sound judgment
    • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and to perform multiple tasks simultaneously; self-motivated
    • Outstanding time-management and typing skills
    • Ability to work autonomously while highly focused and detailed-oriented with exceptional analytical skills
    • Professional presentation in attire, demeanor, appearance, and compliance to company dress code Benefits:
