Well established organization in need of an experienced Quality Assurance Engineer. In this Quality Assurance Engineer role, you must have a demonstrated a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of quality engineering principles, concepts, practices and theories in the quality area of responsibility. As a Quality Assurance Engineer with this orgnaization, responsibilities may include product quality support, execution of continuous improvement projects, supplier quality development, and development of improved quality metrics. As a Quality Assurance Engineer for this team, you must be able to draw solutions from both formal training and experience. This Quality Assurance Engineer role requires original thinking and ingenuity to solve problems as well as working closely with other engineering and functional areas to obtain optimum utilization of equipment, machinery and resources. The primary responsibilities of this role as a Quality Assurance Engineer will be supporting of manufacturing operations as related to quality of the product or other area of responsibility as well as the use of quality and continuous improvement tools including Lean, Six Sigma, and SPC to develop appropriate measurement systems to evaluate product quality. As a Quality Assurance Engineer you will need to execute continuous improvement projects aimed at reducing process variation, improving defect prevention and detection, and enhanced product reliability as well as proactively resolve product process and system issues, drive improvement in process design, layout, and operational performance and apply failure analysis and root cause analysis as required within the quality engineering discipline. Must have a BS Engineering or Quality with 4-6 years experience and working knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, and SPC.
