Job Summary

Perform all aspects of dragline digging operations productively and safely. Ability to identify cable wear, bucket designs, and operations.

Job Responsibilities

• Promote Zero4Life in all activities.
• Prior experience required with similar or same equipment or machinery to include working mechanical knowledge of many phases of dragline operations and maintenance
• Ability to work with the oiler
• Ability to take direction and complete assigned tasks with minimal direction and supervision
• Must make some decisions independently to ensure efficient production
  
  Qualifications
  
  
  • High school diploma, GED, or field related experience
  • 1 - 3 years of previous related experience and knowledge of in dragline operations
    
    
    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
    
    
    • Ability to carry out simple oral and written instructions and deal with simple probes from standardized situations.
    • Basic mathematical skills, including basic arithmetic functions and common units of measurement.
    • Ability to read English sufficiently to be able to read information contained in manuals, regulations, and reports, including Safety issues and related matters.
    • Basic English language skills for completion of various paperwork such as pre-shift inspection forms.
      
      Working Conditions
      
      
      • Continuous exposure to extreme heat, extreme cold, extreme noise, and working outdoors
      • Capable to work extended hours as needed
      • Must wear protective equipment while at the location
        
        Physical Requirements
        
        
        • Lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling and/or moving of 50 pounds maximum, with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighting up to 25 pounds.
        • While performing the duties of this job, the Employee is regularly required to talk and hear, in order to communicate to employees
