Job Description Job Description Supervise and provide direction and guidance to field employees on day-to-day operation’s activities relating to concrete activities. Job duties: - Perform jobsite quality control checks and ensure quality assurance on all phases of work. - Ensure efficiency and quality work relating to curb and gutter install. - Ensure the punch list for job cleanup is completed and a documented follow up walk-through done to ensure all punch list items have been addressed. - Provide overall leadership and direct the activities of numerous field employees. - Review blueprints and plans. - Review all projects to focus on equipment and manpower among divisions to maximize efficiency. - Coordinate materials, manpower, and equipment needed for daily tasks. - Complete daily timesheets. - Ensure job follows OSHA rules and regulations. - Monitor all job site operations for compliance with contract requirements for noise and dust control, non-interruption of Government activities, and utility shutdown procedures. - Check equipment to monitor for abuse, neglect, repairs and utilization; work with Equipment Manager to make recommendations on new and additional equipment needs. - Interface with Owner’s representatives to assure that overall progress on the jobs meets their expectations and demands. - Operate construction equipment as needed. - Fill in and perform other field duties when needed. Requirements: - High School education required.
