Job Description Job Description Must have completed Behavior Specialist / ABA Therapy training and have a minimum 1 years Behavior Therapy experience. A full-time, on-site Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) opportunity is available for the 2026/2027 school year in Smyrna, Delaware. This role supports students with severe disabilities and autism ranging in age from 2 to 22 years old within a school setting. The focus is on providing behavior analysis services that drive positive outcomes for students and support for school staff. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) to identify student behavioral needs - Develop and implement Behavior Support Plans (BSPs) tailored to individual student goals - Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to establish behavior objectives within Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) - Support crisis intervention through de-escalation techniques and participation on the crisis response team - Maintain accurate data collection and monitor progress related to behavior interventions - Provide ongoing behavioral consultation and training to school personnel Qualifications: - Active Delaware BCBA licensure/certification is required; please be prepared to verify this upon application - Proven experience working as a school-based BCBA, particularly with students with severe disabilities and autism - Skilled in conducting FBAs and developing BSPs - Experience with crisis intervention strategies and de-escalation techniques - Strong communication and collaboration abilities - Reliable transportation to work on-site Monday to Friday during standard school hours (37.5 hours per week) Location: - This position is based in Smyrna, DE, and requires on-site attendance throughout the school year This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the educational and behavioral development of students within a supportive school environment.
