SUBSTANCE USE DISORDER TREATMENT PROGRAM TRAINER (CADC, CAADC) ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: - Developing, overseeing, and facilitating a training program for DDOC substance use counselors and mental health therapists - Providing onsite training and staff orientation - Planning and delivering advanced training courses and workshops - Providing expert guidance on complex training matters - Promoting the use of training resources to enhance individual growth and organizational effectiveness SUBSTANCE USE DISORDER TREATMENT PROGRAM TRAINER (CADC, CAADC) MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: - Must have a minimum of two years of experience working in a Therapeutic Community environment. Candidates without two years of TC environment may be considered on a case-by-case basis. - Must have a substance use certification (i.e., CADC, CAADC), or must be actively working towards attaining a substance use certification and must obtain the certificate within two years of hire. - Bachelor's degree in social work, counseling psychology, or other similar degree.
