This position will report directly to the Manager, Treasury Operations . Performs a variety of Treasury duties. Assist in daily treasury operations. Produce reports to aid in the preparation of the daily cash positions and short-term forecast. Work with other areas of the organization and participates in special projects as assigned. Location: Wilmington, Delaware Hours: Regular full-time schedule of 40 hours per week , flexible to candidate needs Term : 3 -month assignment between May-August 2024 The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following: - Assisting in the daily bank reconciliation process by confirming Treasury transactions have cleared at the bank and are properly reconciled. Transactions include FX trades, investments, bank transfers, dividends, internal and external principal and interest payments and ad-hoc wire payments
- Liaising with different departments within Chemours and assist with the research and analysis of Treasury transactions for the proper accounting
- Assisting in building weekly cash forecast and liquidity analysis workbook
- Supporting daily operations ( i.e. input payments, answer inquiries, manage the shared inbox and etc.)
- Supporting ad-hoc reporting of cash and other treasury operations statistics
- Participating in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
The following is required for this role : - Enrollment at an a ccredited college or university as a sophomore or above at time of assignment
- Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Finance or Accounting
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
