Chemours is seeking a Finance Director to join our growing Titanium Technologies team! This position will report directly to the Senior Director Financial Planning & Analysis at our Wilmington, Delaware location. The Finance Director will act as the Segment CFO for the Titanium Technologies business unit, overseeing all financial operations for the segment and serving as the key business partner to the Titanium Technologies Business President. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the finance team and partnering with cross functional senior management to drive financial performance and support business strategy. The role demands a deep understanding of financial and business principles, commodity market insights, and the ability to steer our business towards financial success. The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following: - Lead and supervise the financial planning and analysis functions, ensuring accurate reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Direct the development of financial strategies in line with the TT and Chemours objectives and market opportunities.
- Oversee the preparation of all financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
- Implement and maintain robust financial controls and governance frameworks to ensure the integrity of financial data.
- Guide key investment decisions, manage capital requests, and strategize on capital allocation.
- Evaluate and optimize financial performance by analyzing results, monitoring variances, and identifying trends.
- Mentor and develop a high-caliber finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.
- Collaborate with other departments to develop cost-effective business solutions and enhance profitability.
- Serve as a key member of the TT global business leadership team, contributing to broader business strategy and organizational development.
- Maintain awareness of regulatory changes, industry developments, and macroeconomic trends that may affect the business.
The following is required for this role: - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or related field;
- Minimum of 10+ years of relevant experience in financial management roles, with at least 5 years in a leadership capacity.
- Expertise in financial analysis, forecasting, and strategic financial planning.
- Extensive experience with financial systems, databases, and business intelligence tools.
- Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to build, guide, and inspire a team of finance professionals.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of negotiating with and influencing stakeholders at all levels.
- Strategic mindset with a focus on collaboration, innovation, and driving business results.
