• WashingtonCenergist is recruiting a Service Delivery and Project Manager for their operational systems to join their IT function, reporting to the Head of IT. Providing a hands-on support service across the whole organisation, including UK, Europe, and India offices. The main responsibilities will be to own the IT products and solutions in use by Cenergist's growing business, collaborate across supplier relationships, and deliver technology as a service to the required levels of security and availability.Project management competencies are required to manage improvements to the ongoing service, technology transitions and the adoption of new technology and data capabilities to drive new business value and performance.You must be able to work under your own initiative and play a leading/ coaching role in a multi-disciplined team. A commercially astute and collaborative technology professional who looks to innovate and deliver the highest levels of cost and value performance.
  • Ownership of key IT services and technologies, based predominantly on a SaaS strategy, which includes (not limited to) Microsoft 365 and Power stacks, ExcelPoint, ViewPoint, Propeller, FieldView and other engineering software products.
  • Ensuring delivery of IT services within budget and compliant with agreed service levels for all users and partners across our geographic areas.
  • Compliance with cybersecurity best practices across the Cenergist business including cyber security essentials plus certification
  • The Service Delivery and Project Manager will focus on the business, building relationships whilst liaising with the technical teams, business & senior management to deliver a comprehensive IT service.
  • Collaborate with the Head of IT to input to IT strategy and innovation, in emerging technology areas including Artificial Intelligence and data.
  • Proven track record in a delivery role, experience within IT Services and service improvement
  • Lead and drive continuous improvement including coaching others in their development.
  • Preferably ITIL foundation qualification or equivalent
  • Experience in delivering service management & budget control
  • Experience of Microsoft 365 technology stack, cybersecurity best practice implementation and administration
  • Proven knowledge of all aspects of IT competencies and disciplines, such as software, network infrastructure, cloud deployments and fin ops, unified communications
  • Previous experience of large-scale IT software deployments
  • Good negotiation, influencing and problem resolution skills
  • Proven ability to effectively prioritise and execute tasks in a reactive high-pressure environment
  • Excellent collaboration interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated and previously demonstrated ability to lead by example
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to produce reports, prepare, organise and deliver client meetings
  • Ability to understand key client concerns, issues and agendas
  • Able to organise time and tasks effectively due to the diverse nature of the role
  • High attention to detail
  • Strong communicator both verbally and in written form
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks with challenging deadlines
  • Strong focus on customer support, customer service and service delivery
  • Confident with Microsoft Windows operating systems and desktop applications
