At Capital One, you'll be part of a big group of builders, breakers, doers and disruptors, who love to solve real problems and meet real customer needs.This position is in the Cloud IAM org within the Cyber line of business. - We ensure the security of our AWS identity perimeter while preserving and enhancing Capital One's developer experience. - We build tools and platforms used by almost every developer in Capital One. - The cloud security policies we implement are a key part of keeping Capital One's customers and data safe. -As part of this role, you and your team will be responsible for ensuring Capital One implements applications safely and securely in the Cloud. - You will dive deep into new cloud capabilities and help identify risks and build solutions to enable their safe use in Capital One. - You will work with internal and external auditors to demonstrate our ability to secure our cloud infrastructure. - -You will: - Lead the craftsmanship, availability, resilience, and scalability of your solutions
- Leverage the IAM capabilities of AWS to assess and/or design technical controls and solutions
- Bring a passion to stay on top of tech and cybersecurity trends, experiment with and learn new technologies, participate in internal & external technology communities, and mentor other members of the engineering community
- Encourage innovation, implementation of cutting-edge technologies, inclusion, outside-of-the-box thinking, teamwork, self-organization, and diversity
- Work across the organization to improve the velocity of your and other teams
- Lead efforts to deploy new and existing applications into Cloud environmentsAbout You:
- You have strong consulting and analytical skills
- You have breadth in knowledge of AWS services - -
- You have the ability to foster collaborative, open, working relationships with technology groups and other stakeholders, including vendor relationships -
- You have demonstrated clear communication skills and ability to interact effectively at all levels of an organization, and to influence senior management and executives (Including translating technical information based on specific audiences)
- You have experience driving results in high-impact, highly-visible projects
- You have a passion for cybersecurity and the cloud.Basic Qualifications:
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent certification
- At least 4 years of experience working in cybersecurity or information technology -
- At least 2 years of experience managing technology projectsPreferred Qualifications:
