Leidos is seeking a seasoned Cyber Systems and IT Security Administrator to join our dynamic team at the Washington Planning Center, located at the Washington Navy Yard in Washington, DC. This role supports the Theater Mission Planning Center (TMPC) program and offers the opportunity to make a real impact in a mission-critical environment.What We're Looking For:We're on the hunt for a professional with a strong information assurance background and expertise in Intrusion Protection Systems, Intrusion Detection Systems, and Scanning Systems. If you have a solid understanding of the accreditation process and can apply policies to existing systems based on current Laws, Regulations, Policies, and Guidance, we want to hear from you!To thrive in this role, you must be DoD 8570 compliant with a current operating system or network system certification, in addition to a security certification.What Makes You Our Ideal Candidate? - You excel in a collaborative team environment, working alongside information assurance, network engineering, and system administration professionals.

- You bring a positive attitude and a commitment to excellence in cybersecurity.Your Role at a Glance:As a Cyber Systems and IT Security Administrator, you'll leverage your operating system and cybersecurity expertise to apply the NIST Risk Management Framework. You'll work closely with a team of Cybersecurity Professionals to ensure system accreditation and maintain the cybersecurity posture of the facility.Key Responsibilities
- Integrate security architecture and engineering efforts into the IT lifecycle.
- Design and implement security concepts, controls, and mechanisms to create a reliably secure product.
- Perform tasks such as scanning, applying STIGs, and developing POA&Ms for RMF packages.
- Continuously improve systems to meet specific requirements for software/hardware components and technical infrastructure.Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree and 8+ years of experience (additional experience can substitute for a degree).
- Current Top Secret SCI security clearance.
- IAT Level 2 and Security+ certification.Preferred Qualifications
