The Washington DC VA Medical Center is seeking to hire a Neurologist to join our dynamic team!Scope of practice of include, but is not limited to: - Provide direct patient care for outpatients and inpatients with actual or presumed neurological problems.
- Take turns covering the inpatient neurology ward and neurology consult service, supervising and educating residents/students and taking call responsibilities (that may involve clinical care/supervision on weekends).
- Responsibilities will include Headache clinics and other clinics focused on interventions such as Botulinum toxin for headache treatment.
- Work independently, caring for outpatients in a to be established headache clinic.
- Ability to function within a large complex organization that requires cooperation with multiple services.
- Participate in clinical research and other academic activities as assigned, both with VA and our affiliated academic institutions.
- May participate in telehealth with Community Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOCs).Work Schedule: 8:00am - 4:30pm, Monday - Friday (Plus On-Call)Paid Time Off:
