Policy Development SpecialistKey Role:Help lead the assessment, development, review, and integration of IA and IT policies and plans within the customer's environment. Work with federal program leads from a prioritized work plan to coordinate with key stakeholders and subject matter experts to draft policy documents, including formal guidance and procedural documents, facilitate internal and external reviews, adjudicate input, coordinate for review and Directors signature, and assist with implementation and lifecycle management. Evaluate how policies and plans stack up to regulations, best practices, and industry standards. Through the use of regulatory and guidance documents, including Executive Orders, Intelligence Community Directives, Guidance and Memoranda, Department of Energy Orders, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, and International Standards Organization artifacts, SANS, and EC-Council standards. Lead the identification, development, and modification of standard policies and plans to support enterprise operations, continuity and contingency planning and programming, and DOE and Intelligence Community compliance.Basic Qualifications:7+ years of experience with policy or plans developmentExperience with DoD or Federal Government supporting policy and plan developmentExperience writing or drafting executive or formal senior-level correspondenceExperience briefing clients and team members on technical, policy, and functional issuesTop Secret clearanceBachelors degreeAdditional Qualifications:2+ years of experience with cybersecurity2+ years of experience with NIST 800 series publicationsExperience with the military or Federal governmentExperience supporting senior-level organizationsExperience with the development of DoD-level policies or strategiesExperience with cybersecurity risk analysisKnowledge of Cybersecurity FrameworkPossession of excellent verbal and written communication skillsPossession of excellent organizational skillsClearance:Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Top Secret clearance is required.Create Your Career:Grow With UsYour growth matters to usthats why we offer a variety of ways for you to develop your career. The projected compensation range for this position is $54,000.00 to $123,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allens total compensation package for employees.
