Description SrProgram Officer (Foreign Policy Program Officer) Bureau and Office: CDP/SPC/DCCP Duty Location: Hybrid (DOS Harry STruman BldgWashington, DC) Minimum Qualifications:--- BA degree in related field--- Minimum 5 yrs of experience with program management of foreign assistance grants, contracts, interagency agreements, and congressional reporting is required.--- Experience preparing briefing materials and meet timelines with limited supervision; and can work independently and proactively.--- Excellent analytic, interpersonal and communication skills; knowledge of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) programming, activities, and issues; an understanding of managing for results, preferred Required Security Clearance : Top Secret SrProgram Officer/Subject Matter Expert I We're seeking an experienced, engaged and detail-oriented Senior Program Officer with excellent analytic, interpersonal and communication skills; critical thinking and problem-solving skills; knowledge of and experience with Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and Cybersecurity issues; an understanding of 'managing for results'; ability to prepare written analysis and briefing materials and meet timelines with limited supervision; and can work independently and proactivelyExperience in international (multi-donor) cooperation, building relationships with the interagency and like-minded partnersExperience with strategic and operational plans, developing and implementing strategic communicationsExperience with program design and implementation of foreign assistance and working with USG implementing partners such as the US Agency for International Development (USAID), US Department of State and/or United Nations is requiredPrior experience performing in leadership roles managing multimillion-dollar programming, program evaluation, managing and mentoring staff, negotiating with foreign governments, and demonstrated experience in organizational management, systems, and business processesThe Program Officer will assist in managing DCCP implementing partners' programs, monitoring, and evaluating program progress, engaging like-minded donors and external stakeholders, conducting data analysis on regional trends/needs, to include data visualization, and identifying and leveraging opportunities where DCCP programming can have an impactThe candidate will develop program analyses and information to guide the management of resources and participate in team projects, such as annual budget, program planning and allocations, and reportingNormal work hours will be Monday through FridayOffice hours are 8:15a -
