Members of the Blake Willson Group team are passionate and enthusiastic, working towards a common goal of exceptional client support.Job Description:In your position as aSenior Consultant, you will lead the documentation efforts related to business processes, governance, and internal controls as a part of a system transition team supporting migration to a new cross-serviced grants management system. Your expertise will be critical in ensuring a smooth transition to the new grants management system. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and project managers to capture essential information, streamline processes, and enhance overall efficiency. You will also support: - Business Process Documentation
- Create detailed process maps, flowcharts, and diagrams that comprehensively document existing business processes.
- Identify inefficiencies, gaps, and areas for improvement within current workflows.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to validate process documentation.
- Governance and Policies
- Develop and maintain policies and procedures related to grants management.
- Ensure alignment with industry standards, legal requirements, and organizational goals.
- Establish governance frameworks to guide decision-making and compliance.
- Internal Controls
- Assess existing internal controls and identify control weaknesses.
- Design and implement robust internal control frameworks to safeguard grant-related activities.
- Monitor adherence to controls and recommend enhancements as needed.
- Transition Support
- Play a key role in the transition to the new grants management system.
- Work closely with IT teams, project managers, and end-users to ensure seamless data migration and process integration.
- Provide training and support during the system rollout.
- Stakeholder Engagement
- Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders, offering insights on process improvements and risk mitigation.
- Communicate effectively with project sponsors, executives, and team members.
- Quality Assurance
- Review project artifacts, including schedules, budgets, and requirements.
- Ensure compliance with project management methodologies and best practices.Required Skills:
- Public Trust Clearance required.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Finance, Management, or related discipline) required.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in business process documentation, governance, and internal controls.
- Proficiency in analytical tools (e.g., R, SAS, SQL) and data visualization (e.g., Tableau) and Visio.
- Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.Desired Skills:
- Relevant certifications such as PMP, CTP, ITIL, CPA, CGFM,CIA, CGMS, CICA, or PROSCI are advantageous.
- Familiarity with grants management systems is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated experience supporting a successful system migration.Compensation and Benefits:
