*If you are interested in this role, please send your most updated resume to "Denni" at Location: Washington, DC Type: Direct Hire, W2 Only Schedule: Mon.- Fri, Standard core hours Clearance Level: Secret / TS Required There are different levels of positions that are currently available***This position requires an active US SECRET clearance to be considered*** Conduct license request reviews to ensure appropriate compliance with registration requirementsInitiate inquiries and prepare final action for senior staff approvalUpdate and maintain the State Department's Watch List database of entities of concern, both to comply with the AECA and to support foreign policy implementation via arms export licensingResponsibilities Include: Review license requests referred to from DTCL to ensure compliance with registration requirementsInitiate inquiries and obtain appropriate documentation from US parties or other program elementsPrepare final actions for senior staff approvalUpdate and maintain the State Department's Watch List databaseHelp identify and implement technical improvements to the systemUpdates and maintains State Department's Watch List database of entities of concern, both to comply with the AECA and to support foreign policy implementation via arms export licensingHelps identify and implement technical improvements to the systemMonitor team efforts, respond to workload shifts, and maintain high-quality work productsCoordinate and liaise with interagency non-proliferation and export control community on arms trafficking/proliferation mattersCoordinate with licensing offices on compliance and enforcement mattersHelp coordinate plans and operations to prevent violations of US export laws and support remedial actionsConduct proactive outreach to promote compliance with US export laws and regulationsSpeak at government and industry conferencesParticipate in Company Visit program activitiesRespond to inquiries concerning compliance mattersPerform other job-related duties as assignedExperience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested: Bachelor's Degree or combination of education and at least 2 years of regulatory compliance and ITAR experience
