We offer our Registered Nurses clinical instruction and additional learning opportunities as you complete your ONCOLOGY Nurse Residency. Student nurses and recent graduate nurses are welcome and encouraged to apply to the ONCOLOGY department. Qualifications Current Connecticut RN License required within 90 days of hire Graduate of an accredited nursing school BLS certification by the American Heart Association One-year recent Acute Care RN experience preferred, however Graduate Nurses are encouraged to apply The Hospital of Central Connecticut is an acute-care community teaching hospital.
