We are hiring to help support the expansion of our new, state-of-the-art suite where you’ll be working on a GE Hero 3.0T and GE Artist 1.5T magnet . At Backus Hospital , we offer: $10,000 Sign-On Bonus for 36 hours/week $5,000 Sign-On Bonus for 24 hours/week Work with new , state-of-the-art GE Hero 3.0T and GE Artist 1.5T magnets Tuition Reimbursement up to $5,250.00 after six months of employment and up to 40% tuition discounts with partnering institutions for colleagues AND dependents Generous Paid Time Off, 401k with company match and so much more Summary: Our MRI Technologists perform MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) exams in the hospital by selecting specific software parameters according to established protocols to assist the referring physician in diagnosis. The MRI Technologist prepares and positions patients, injects patients with contrast media, and selects anatomic and technical parameters accurately to produce cross-sectional images of the body. Qualifications Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiography program (ARRT) or graduate from American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist (ARM RIT) with an Associate Degree with focus in medical image preferably MRI Licensure, Certification, Registration: ARRT certification in Radiography OR ARRT MRI or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist (ARMRIT) required.
