ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:

Receive and process COVID samples by scanning them into Meditech individually.

• Register new employees using information they fill out & send on specimen collection forms.
• Site batch all received specimens so that they are ready to be sent to Griffin Health's reference laboratory.
• Tracks and efficiently handles all unlabeled specimens or specimens with miscellaneous issues by adding them to the correct shared document.
• Confirms accuracy of client and specimen details.
• Examines specimens for adequacy, integrity, and appropriateness of specimen.
• Practices effective hand off with Specimen Collection Team Leads & Couriers.
• Performs quality checks on all specimen collection forms
  
  EDUCATION: High school graduate.
  
  EXPERIENCE: On-the-job training provided.
