Job Description/ Responsibilities

• Should have strong knowledge on oracle database administration with cloud development activities
• Should be strong in automation and engineering skills
• AWS cloud administration and development activities are mandatory
• Strong experience in supporting Oracle DBMS products including Oracle Database, Oracle Grid Control, Data Guard, ASM, RAC and NoSQL database management
• Experience in Database Deployment and Transformation in Public Cloud (Oracle /AWS)
• Proficiency in setting up backup and recovery strategies using RMAN
• Thorough knowledge of Oracle OEM, ASM, Data pump, Partitioning, Materialized views.
• Experience with Oracle Golden Gate
• Experience in running and supporting large databases under high transaction rates
• Ability to proactively identify, troubleshoot and resolve live database systems issues using tools like OEM
• Solid experience in database migration from one platform to another, patching, upgrade, data loading, security, capacity planning, performance monitoring and tuning
• Ability to manage all database maintenance plan activities including backups, indexing, integrity and consistency checks, etc.
• Ability to analyze traces, debug stored procedures, triggers, and packages
• Experience in database design and some logical modeling knowledge
• Working experience of Unix, Windows, and Linux operating systems
• Clear understanding of Database Architecture, Operating Systems, Client/ Server Architecture
• Experience in supporting IT operations using an onsite/offshore delivery model
• Ability to write and maintain technical documentation and procedures
• Ability to diagnose and resolve technical problems independently as well as in collaboration with a team"
