JOB TITLE:Outpatient Therapist EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Full-time, 40 hours/wk SCHEDULED HOURS: Monday-Thursday in office, Tuesday & Wed until 8pm, Fri work from home/telehealth PROGRAM/LOCATION: Children's Outpatient Program, Bloomfield, CT PC#: 2197 ABOUT THE PROGRAM: Child Outpatient Program Psychiatric and diagnostic evaluation and treatment is provided to children, adolescents and families. Our child and adolescent offices are designated as Enhanced Care Clinics under Husky, and offer integrated behavioral health services. Individual, family treatment, psychiatric evaluation, medication management, MATCH, ARC, and TF-CBT (Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) are available. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: - Provides assessment and treatment interventions consistent with fidelity to evidence based model if applicable.
- Documents ongoing client progress and outcomes
- Demonstrates competency in age related or specialty issues and developmental needs for each population served.
- Works with clients to develop appropriate discharge plans utilizing natural supports.
- Maintains collaborative relationships with family members and other service providers
- Provides crisis assessment and intervention to monitor status of clients in crisis.
- Responsible for Maintaining Client and Staff Records According to Agency Policy
- Participates in weekly supervision and meetings to review client and program progress.
- Develops and provides therapeutic group therapy, individual, and family therapy. QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Master's Degree in mental health field Experience: Demonstrated in-depth knowledge and experience as a psychotherapist working with people with mental illness and/or serious emotional disorders. Demonstrated training and experience in all aspects of mental health treatment, assessment, evaluation and provision of individual, group and family therapy. Relevant experience to program model to which individual is assigned. Licensure/Certification/Registration: LCSW, LMFT, LPC, or Licensed as Clinical Psychologist in State of CT preferred, or may be license-eligible. WHY CHR: - Voted Top Workplace 10 years in a row!
